This guide will explain how to add an Active Directory user to Clocktimizer, on premise.
Step 1: Navigate to the "Admin" section in the left menu.
Step 2: Click Add Active Directory Account under Active Directory.
Step 3: Enter the query and click on 'Search Active Directory'. You can search Active Directory by AD username or email address.
The application will display all matching AD principals:
Step 4: Select the user using by clicking the selection button on the left.
Step 5: Click "Create account" and an account will be made in Clocktimizer for this user.
Step 6: Initially, users will be added to the 'Default' role, which has no permissions (by default). Update the new users permissions manually in Clocktimizer or via Active Directory is AD based grouping is used.
