The fee comparison works by selecting a reference matter(s) and suggesting similar matters. Those similar matters are displayed based on our nearest neighbour algorithm. But how does it work?
This algorithm selects and produces a list of similar matters based on two factors in the reference matter: specific activities and hours.
The coloured bars represent this in a visual way; different colours represent different activities, and the length of the coloured section represents the hours spent on that activity. In Clocktimizer, hovering over the bar will show you what activities make up this matter. In the example below: we can see on the reference matter that Due Diligence has the most hours, followed by Shared Purchase Agreement, then Project Management.
